STEPHANIE DI FEDERICO, Vaughan Family Lawyer 

Stephanie has been exclusively practising Family Law since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2005.  Her comprehensive practice covers a range of legal matters including division and equalization of property; custody and access; spousal support; and child support. Stephanie has experience in representing high net worth clients and has dealt with complex financial issues.  She also prepares and negotiates pre-nuptial agreements, marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements.

Stephanie is a fierce advocate for her clients. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice in several jurisdictions throughout the province.  Stephanie also successfully appealed to the Divisional Court in a precedent setting case. She has been a panelist with the Newmarket Superior Court in presenting their Mandatory Information Program.

Stephanie’s focus is to provide her clients with exceptional legal representation in a proficient and cost-effective manner.  She is adept in all manners of dispute resolution.  She has been involved in several mediations and negotiated settlements, and works with her clients to determine the most appropriate resolution method for each case.  She understands her clients’ needs to have their matter resolved in an efficient and compassionate manner.

Stephanie earned her Specialized Honours degree in Psychology from York University and obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005.  Prior to joining Bortolussi Family Law, Stephanie articled at a large law firm in Toronto.

Stephanie is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
