Valda I. Blenman, B.A., LL.B.
Valda brings 28 years of legal experience to the firm, the last 14 years at a well-respected Family Law firm in Toronto. She enjoys a well-established reputation for client service with a talent in strategic planning and for generating creative options to assist clients in resolving their Family Law disputes.

Valda has experience in all areas of Family Law and she focuses her practice on the financial aspects of Family Law as she enjoys the detailed work involved in property division. She represents parties on the breakdown of marriages, common law relationships and same-sex relationships.

Throughout her legal career she has negotiated and achieved settlements on behalf of her clients and she has drafted and negotiated separation agreements, marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements.

Valda has appeared at all levels of courts in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal and she has appeared as co-counsel before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Valda is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Valda graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and she holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree.

Valda maintains membership in key professional associations, including: the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the York Region Law Association.
